Tastes like Fire

_{She had to admit that he was hot.

Lucy tried to catch her breath as she felt light kisses on her exposed neck. She never imagined being with him like that...HIM. Her best friend, her teammate, her other half? She didn't even know what that pink haired man was to her but right at the moment she didn't really care.

"Is this okay?"

His hand firmly on her knee makes her heart do funny things but she manages to nod and smile at a worried Natsu Dragneel who probably is as clueless as she is right now. They both don't know what they're doing but it kind of feels right in a strange way. Lucy doesn't want to go all the way but she wants to... let go a bit and enjoy her first (real) date with Natsu.

To be honest, dating was really awkward. They were friends before and they'd always hang out and spend time together so it felt like going several steps back when Mirajane told them to have a proper date for once.

Lucy has been aware of her feelings for her friend for quite a long time now but this still felt surreal.

His mouth was hot and his lips were surprisingly soft as he met her own swollen lips again. She let out a tiny moan and immediately felt stupid for it but Natsu just chuckled and continued nibbling her earlobe. His teeth were very sharp she noticed with a strange satisfaction because he knew how to use them to her liking. Natsu could be a clutz but deep inside of him he was tender and loving and he'd always take care of Lucy, no matter what.

"You smell really good."

His soft whisper against her ear made her whole body shiver and she let out a heavy breath. She couldn't deny that he had a nice scent as well. Something warm, like a campfire. She really liked the way he smelled.

His hands wandered up and down her body and Lucy felt like she was going to combust, the heat nearly unbearable. Sure, Natsu's body temperature was higher than a regular human's but that was not all there was to it. It was the way he looked at her...the way he touched her...like she belonged to only him.

"Natsu..."

He focused his hooded gaze on her flushed face and she traced his cheek bone with her hand. The other one traveled up and down his muscular arms and she really took a liking to the way goosebumps rose underneath her fingertips.

Lucy was sure that she was love drunk.

This was almost ridiculous but Natsu had a strange effect on her and especially when they were somewhat intimate. The hand that had rested on his arm now explored his taunt stomach and she smiled to herself when she felt his muscles clench. It looked like she also had an effect on him!

"What is it, Luce?"

How could a person make you feel so comfortable? He moved even closer and kissed the tip of her nose making her giggle.

"I-...um..."

Lucy begun drawing circles on his chest absent minded but the way she bit her lip he knew that she was embarrassed about the thing she wanted to say. It made a glimpse of curiosity spark in his ember eyes and he grinned revealing his sharp fangs.

"You what?"

Then Lucy let out a sigh while Natsu's tongue caressed her neck once more. He was quick but gentle and she couldn't think straight.

"Hmm and you taste good too. Your skin is so hot, it tastes a bit like fire."

"Fire!?"

"No, better than fire!"
